Phi Phi Banyan Villa

We loved our stay at this hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The rooms are fine.

The location is great for first time travelers as its close to the pier but also easily accessible to both sides of the island. good room view with the pool, clean, and good staff.

we stayed at banyan hotel between the dates 27\\9-3\\10\\13. we would like to thank you for the warm hospitality, it was a pleasure to stay at the hotel, and we will definatly recommand it to our friends. i would like if possible, to pass a personal and direct thank you to the receptionists named Bee. she is just amazing, cared for our every need, with a hugh smile, a truely lovely person that we will remember for-ever as a crucial factor in making our vacation great.

We had ongoing problems with the air conditioning unit in our room. Each time we raised this with reception, the unit was repaired but the fix would only last approximately 24 hours before breaking again ... In my opinion, the unit was beyond repair and needed replacing. This was the first time we stayed at Phi Phi Banyan Villa (we normally stay at Arayaburi Resort). Overall Banyan Villa was ok, the location was ideal and the staff were great. It's good to experience this type of accommodation and we will consider again when we're back in Phi Phi in 2014.

the hotel was great -- the rooms were nice, the location was good, the breakfast was nice. the only real issue was when I nicely told the lady in the front of the hotel that my bed had sand in it she got so upset and mean. I actually wanted to stay for the rest of the week but after this interaction she threatened to put my bags outside of my room and said that there was no sand in my bed. it was really crazy how rude she was. the hotel business is in the business of treating guests with respect. I left that morning and went to another hotel. she said she didn't care "she had other people to come stay there". It was TERRIBLE!

great location, right on the beach, quiet at night (very valuable in this noisy island) with pool.

Beautiful hotel. It felt like we were in a resort. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. It was one of the most expensive places we stayed at on our trip and seemed a little disproportionally priced compared to our accomodations elsewhere, however most accomodations in this area seem to be equally expensive.

Poor staff and unfriendly but there's good location.

I have been disapointed by the room, which is the most important for me in a hotel. Indeed, the room standard is not in line with the lobby and the pool area ones which are quite nice. The furnitures in my room were old, the room was not so clean, the bathroom and towels look not so fresh, the bed was not so comfortable. The room rate is too expensive and not in line with the room standard.

The rooms are looking a little tired & could do with updateing. Hotel is well situated but slightly overpriced for the standard of accommodation available, but hotel choice is limited on Phi Phi so they have a captive market. Need to get free wifi in the rooms. Great gym and good pool although small & not enough sunbeds round pool we counted 5 !!! Ground floor rooms get noise from people walking along the wooden walkway at night & in a morning so opt for an upper room

my wife got sick while we stayed in the hotel, she was feverish and weak. But from the hotel no one would help us by bringing food, for money of course (I didn't want to leave her alone) or by helping us get to the hospital. Also there are not enough computers with internet.

We had a few lovely days at the PP Banjan Villa in Kho Phi Phi in November 2011. The hotel was nice & clean, it's situated perfectly and the staff was very friendly. We loved the option of using the fitness center which was part of the hotel during the rain period during the afternoon. It had a great standard and lots of variety. Overall, we'd always return.

Staff performance and attitude are so poor and unfriendly and rude. I will not recommend nobody visit PP Banyan Villa hotel.

I came for one week and stayed for two....great hotel...friendly staff. The gym was great too...very clean and modern. It's right in the middle of town but apart from some noise from nearby bars, within the hotel itself it's pretty quiet.

Staff were very friendly but our room was not cleaned until we asked for it to be done on 2 separate occassions. Lovely hotel, good location but maybe need to have more staff as the ones we saw were always so busy.

The hotel room is a little bit old although its convinient enough, and since our room is located far behind (second floor), its quite difficult to access there bringing a lot of stuff/big luggage passing through the garden and stairways.

I found the staff very rude, this was the worst service we recieved during our 2 week stay in thailand. They were curt and treated guest like they were going to destroy the hotel or something. We were hasseled every evening when we returned to our rooms, being asked if we were staying here and what our room # was as if we were tresspassers. Also we were refused a second beach towel after getting one wet, even with a huge stack behind the front desk at 3pm we were told "sorry 1 per person per day". Upon check out we were accused of stealing an umbrella and delayed our checkout until the cleaners finally "found" the umbrella, we almost missed our ferry due to this. We hadn't touched the umbrellas once. Overall a very dissapointing stay, we knew based on the price that the rooms were not going to be lavish, we we fine with the minimal rooms, but the service was horrible.

everthing about the hotel is fantastic. only the breakfast was disapointing. (the only place in Thailand the staff not smiling and bad breakfast)

When arrived,it was a time the pool could not be used, was very oily. But it was ok for us, we don't need a pool for a 2-day-stay. the staff was great, we needed two times help in our room and after 5 minutes a nice man helped us and he was very friendly. Great support!!! Overall we would come again :))) Greetings from germany and thanks for the good time!!!
